Career Summary

Tiffany Tarpley has co-anchored WTOL-TV’s morning newscasts since joining the news team in December 2020. Tiffany helps Toledo viewers start their day with urgency, enthusiasm, and authenticity. In her short time in the market, she has helped the morning show team tangibly increase its viewership. With nearly 18 years of experience in television news, she has excelled in the field as a live breaking news reporter and on the desk as an engaging and knowledgeable anchor. Tiffany advocates for progress within the communities she serves and uses her visibility to highlight issues and work for and to celebrate change.

Tiffany was the nightside reporter on WKYC Cleveland before joining the anchoring team with WTOL. She also hosted WKYC’s weekly community affairs program “We the People.” Tiffany is one of Tegna’s best multi-skilled journalists as evidenced by her support roles at other Tegna stations during major breaking news events.

Tiffany launched her career at WTOL, Toledo as a news editor and worked her way up to reporter and then news anchor at WUPW the Fox affiliate in Toledo where she twice won regional Emmy awards for role as news anchor and producer. Tiffany moved to Milwaukee in 2010 where she was the lead nightside reporter, regularly securing exclusive stories and interviews.

In 2014, she returned to her home market, Cleveland, as the morning live reporter for WKYC-TV.
