Career Summary

Amanda works as a lead night-side reporter at Cincinnati's WLWT news station and is the 'go-to reporter" for high profile stories' in her newsroom.

She has reported several local stories that garnered national attention including Otto Warmbier's return from North Korea, a mass shooting at the Cameo Nightclub in Cincinnati, and the tragic death of a teen at the Ohio State fair. She was the lead reporter on the Emmy-Award winning newscast in 2016 as the Cincinnati Zoo's beloved gorilla Harambe, was killed after a child fell into the enclosure.

Amanda has experience on the anchor desk filling in and featured on national news during her coverage of a police manhunt in the Poconos while working at WNEP-TV, Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Her drive to bring compelling stories to her viewers comes naturally, and she knows how to harness the power of social media to connect with viewers, especially in breaking news situations.

Amanda grew up in Pittsburgh and calls Ohio her second home. She earned her degree in broadcast journalism at Kent State University. She met her husband there, who is a Cleveland native.
