Career Summary

Christine Winter joined the ABC 36 team as an Anchor/ Reporter in May 2011. She now co-anchors ABC 36 News at 5:00, 6:00, and 11:00. The native Texan came to Lexington from Waco, Texas where she worked as an Anchor/ Reporter at KCEN-HD.

Christine's path into television news began during her years at Pine Manor College in Boston. She also studied at American University's Washington Program in Journalism and interned for Cox Broadcasting’s Washington Bureau.

When Christine isn’t covering the latest Central Kentucky news, you’ll find her catching up with her adorable nephews and niece and spending time with her “little girl,” a yellow Labrador retriever.
