Career Summary

Meghan Bunchman is an award-winning, multi-media journalist with more than a decade of experience including general assignment reporting and anchoring at WZZM TV Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Currently, Meghan is the news director and anchor at WOOD Radio News in Grand Rapids. Prior to Michigan, she worked for KUSI San Diego, WFRV Green Bay and freelanced for national publications in both Chicago and Washington D.C.

On television, Meghan is known for breaking significant stories, most notably when an Uber driver went on a shooting rampage in Kalamazoo, Michigan killing six people. She is recognized for her exclusive content and street style reporting.

Bunchman has a love for reporting on military focused content. She has covered military movements in Africa from the U.S. Capitol and was embedded with U.S.M.C. recruits during their boot camp training in Parris Island, S.C.

Meghan earned a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of San Diego.
