Career Summary

Jade is originally from San Diego, but ventured to the Rockies for college. She graduated with a Minor in French and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast News from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

She began her career in Cheyenne, Wyoming. After two years, she was asked to anchor/produce the station's weekday morning show. One of her proudest achievements was winning the Wyoming Association of Broadcaster's (WAB) 1st Place Award for Best Breaking News Reporter.

In December of 2012, Jade joined KTAL, Shreveport as the Texarkana Bureau Chief. She covered a variety of stories, including Shannon Richardson and the Ricin Investigation. A year later Jade moved to Shreveport. A year after that she was promoted again and is now the anchor of KTAL’s weekend evening newscasts.
